The NFL And STAPLE Join Forces For 32-Team Streetwear Capsule Collection

Jeff Staple and the NFL have launched a brand-new, 32-team streetwear capsule in celebration of STAPLE’s 25th anniversary. The collection features an assortment of sports teams’ apparel intersecting sports and fashion. The line includes t-shirts, hoodies, New Era headwear, outerwear, and more.

In almost three decades Jeff Staple has had multiple collaborations under his belt, including the STAPLE x Nike SB “Pigeon” Dunk and his recent collaboration with Crocs. Jeff Staple has now shown what he can create in the NFL space.

According to a press release obtained by VIBE, the goal of the collection is to provide a unique offering of fan/team gear, bridging the gap between the classic fan and those at the forefront of street culture. The collection is broken down into three different levels and provides a variety of looks to fit each individual’s style.

The first level, “Core,” focuses on brand identity and iconography, more specifically the merging of Staple with each team’s identity. The design goal was to bring the STAPLE and team logos in one accord. Additionally, the “core” level of the collection draws inspiration from past graphic tees and flipped them in a distinctively different way.

The next level is “New Age Throwback” which are forward-trending pieces. The graphic stylings draw inspiration from today’s fashion, and vintage looks.

The third level of the collection, “Fundamentals,” is meant for fans with a “more low-key style.” The NFL and STAPLE designed this level of the collection for the fans that want to rep their team in a clean & classic way. All teams are black fabric based with tonal graphic embroideries and patches. The focus is on premium fabrication and subtle details that add just enough flare to the design.
