After a long wait and a lot of hype, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball crossover event is finally here. Assets containing the Capsule Corp logo were found last month after an update and just yesterday the trailer leaked slightly ahead of schedule, but now the event is finally here and you can sink your teeth into all the new content, which is available until August 30.
There are new Fortnite skins and emotes available on the store and a brand new set of challenges with unique rewards on offer. What we’re the most interested in is the new items available, and the amazing fun you can have by unleashing a Kamehameha. This icon of Dragon Ball makes for a ridiculously powerful weapon in Fortnite, so we’ll tell you how to get your hands on it.
You’ll need to play carefully to get your hands on this item, as you won’t be able to find it as soon as you drop into the map. Instead, the Kamehameha and the Nimbus Cloud item will fall to the map in airdrops from Capsule Corp. Keep an eye out for them and be careful as you approach, since everyone will be eager to get their hands on these items. However, if someone beats you to it then don’t worry as the frequency of these drops will increase as the storm closes in, so you’ll have your time to shine eventually.
That isn’t the only way to get your hands on these powerful items, though. Out on the coast of the main island, you’ll find Kame house. Inside this house, Bulma will be eager to meet you and, for the cost of some gold bars, will give you random powerful items. If you don’t want to try your luck with the airdrops this is a great alternative, but be quick as the storm will cover it almost immediately.
