That’s why we’re so in love with this Parmesan-crusted potato hack. It’s so easy, you barely need any ingredients to get it all together.

Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • 9 potatoes, cut in half lengthwise
  • Thyme
  • Balsamic glaze (optional)

Here are some of our best parmesan cheese recipes.

Directions

Step 1: Crust your cookie sheet

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Take a cookie sheet and layer it with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the parchment paper and cover completely with grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle thyme across the Parmesan cheese.

Step 2: Place your potatoes on the cheese

Place your halved potatoes in a line directly over the Parmesan cheese, flat side facing down. Each potato’s open face should be completely covered by the Parmesan.

Step 3: Bake your potatoes

Place your cookie sheet of potatoes in the oven for about 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drizzle with balsamic glaze for a finished touch or eat as-is. Your potatoes should easily pull apart and have a gorgeous Parmesan-crusted bottom.

How to Make Parmesan-Crusted Potatoes Even Better

Potato recipes are some of the greatest recipes on this planet. You can make this recipe experimental by trying out different types of potatoes—golden, yellow, red and russet are just a few. Try them all and figure out which one is your favorite.

You can even make your own dipping sauce to go with it. A smoked paprika aioli may be the kick you need, or even a fresh homemade ranch dressing. You can try drizzling some over the top in lieu of the balsamic glaze.
