If there’s one widespread complaint about today’s gaming laptops, it’s that they’re too small.
Many gaming laptops now offer jaw-dropping graphics on par with next-gen consoles or PCs, and even throw in amazing HDR-ready 4K monitors.
But the problem is that the screens are often just too small.

YouTube couple Evan and Katelyn decided to take matters into their own hands by building the world’s biggest gaming laptop—with jawdropping results.
The laptop they made might not win any awards for portability, but weighing in at 100 pounds (45kg), it certainly fulfills their brief.

The biggest laptop on the market is 21-inches, so Evan and Katelyn set themselves the goal of making a 43-inch model using a Samsung M70B monitor.
Their main challenge was finding a battery powerful enough to run the laptop’s energy-hungry hardware, which included a top of the range graphics card and processor.
The couple ultimately had to use a portable power station, which is what makes the laptop weigh so much.
Actually building the laptop wasn’t without its issues, as Evan and Katelyn encountered problems with fitting the monitor to the laptop chassis.

However, they eventually got everything properly fitted and were able to spraypaint the body of the laptop and add some resin to it.
Showing off the finished product at the end of the video, Katelyn said: “The lights, the finishing pieces, the keyboard lit up – like, it looks like a big laptop! It’s crazy!”.
The couple showed off two popular 2022 games, Elden Ring and Stray, being played on the laptop.
YouTube users are in awe of the giant laptop. One user, Snek, commented on the video: “I can just imagine someone driving to a coffee shop with a forklift carrying this behemoth of a laptop.
“Then slowly struggling to get it through the door where they are eventually able to shimmy it onto a table. They open it and start clicking away happily.”
