Son Heung-min of Tottenham Hotspur will wear new custom football boots featuring the taegeukgi or Korea’s national flag and his signature goal celebration.
Equipment website Footy Headlines on Tuesday featured Son’s new cleats created by boot artist Jordan Dawson.
One shoe has the national flag on it and the other an image of Son’s signature move, where he poses like a photographer taking a picture.
Son is expected to wear them first in a match against Chelsea on Feb. 26. He has mostly worn shoes featuring a small national flag and his English initials.
At a charity auction held by the Korea Football Association last year, a pair of his boots sold for W16 million (US$1=W1,296).
