Ex-Migos member, Offset posted a photo to his Instagram story of a “Black Jesus” with a message that states,

“Don’t post takeoff unless it’s in a good light please!”

Offset’s post appeared unprovoked, as most of the community has been doing positive tributes.

However, the post could be due to Takeoff never creating a will due to his early passing. The late rapper also had no children, so according to reports, his parents are currently in an ugly legal battle for his financial assets.

It also could stem from the negative conspiracies surrounding the family of Rap- A-Lot Records CEO J.Prince, whose son was with Takeoff at the time of his passing.

Cardi B Shares It’s Been Hard To Make Offset Happy Since Takeoff’s Passing

Recently, Cardi B expressed on Twitter Voice that she has been having difficulty uplifting her husband Offset’s spirits since the murder of his former Migos groupmate and cousin Takeoff.

The “Ring” artist also said that it’s been hard for him to keep up with his priorities as they both have been grieving almost a month since the death. The New York artist also addressed how she hasn’t been trying to go back and forth with internet trolls who feel it’s ok to kick them during their grieving process.

Cardi B Retweets Heartfelt Migos Interview

Cardi B silently hopped on Twitter to retweet a video clip from Complex featuring Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo before the Migos officially broke up earlier this year.

Cardi is standing firmly by her man, Migos’ ex-member Offset, during this heavy time. While the “Hot Shit” rapper may not have much to say publicly, similar to her hubby citing the death of Takeoff, it didn’t stop her from silently sending her condolences.

The Complex Music account tweeted a special interview that featured the rap group before their group split earlier this year. In the highlighted interview, the reporter asks each of the fellas to describe the best gift they ever received.

In response to the interview question, Offset says, “the best gift from my brothers is my brothers.” The clip emphasizes the importance of family and brotherhood while focusing on the significance of the rapper’s bond.

Quavo and Takeoff also respond in the clip, as Takeoff shows off and boasts about a sentimental ring with a photo of his mom on it; Quavo says, “I love the music with these boys.”

Cardi is also a longstanding fan and supporter of the Migos, who have had a major cultural influence in hip-hop.

Offset Silently Mourns The Death Of Takeoff On Instagram

Offset recently changed his Instagram profile photo to the late Migos member, Takeoff who died to gun violence in Houston, Texas yesterday.

Ex-Migos member Offset appears to be mourning in silence after the death of his cousin Takeoff. The “Ric Flair” rapper has chosen to change his profile picture in honor of his late cousin.

The Father of 4 artist hasn’t released any public statement since the death of his cousin yesterday.

However, Offset was spotted looking distressed in NYC shortly after the news broke by a fan on TikTok.

While there is no distinct way to grieve, rappers like Fivio Foreign have received major backlash for inappropriate messaging during this time.

In the case of Offset, silence appears to be the best response. Takeoff, who was just 28 years old, was fatally shot at a bowling alley after a gambling game went awry.
