High-resolution renders of the Samsung Galaxy A34 have surfaced, courtesy of @OnLeaks & Giznext. Arriving months ahead of the device’s presumed release window, the Galaxy A34 sports a few changes from the Galaxy A33 5G, including fewer rear-facing cameras.

@OnLeaks has collaborated with Giznext to leak renders of the Galaxy A34, the presumed successor of the Galaxy A33 5G. In recent years, Samsung has stuck with a similar formula for Galaxy A3x smartphones, with the Galaxy A32, Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A33 5G all looking alike. Based on the renders embedded below, the Galaxy A34 continues with this theme, albeit with a few changes.

On the one hand, the Galaxy A34 has individual camera lenses, with Samsung returning to the Galaxy A32 series’ design. Samsung has axed one camera that featured continued from the Galaxy A32 series into the Galaxy A33 5G, though. Presumably, Samsung has removed the 2 MP depth sensor, with the Galaxy A34 relying on a more typical three rear-facing camera array instead.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A34 is slightly larger than the Galaxy A33 5G while also being smaller than the Galaxy A32 series. The difference between the Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A34 is small though, with the pair measuring 159.7 x 74 x 8.1 mm and 161.3 x 77.7 x 8.2 mm, respectively. Conversely, the Galaxy A32 5G measures 164.2 x 76.1 x 9.1 mm. Elsewhere, @OnLeaks alleges that the Galaxy A34 has a u-shaped notch and a slightly rounder design than its predecessors. A release date is unknown at this stage, although Samsung tends to refresh the Galaxy A3x series during the first quarter of the year.
