With more than 40 years of experience in food preparation and management, Mr. Jordan utilizes his stellar background in food service to bolster his client services as a real estate broker. Since 2011, he has been a real estate broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial and has been a property manager with SNT Properties since 2017. He works with buyers and sellers for residential properties as well as property Investors for buying and leasing while managing six buildings consisting of 70 units.
Mr. Jordan attended John Robert Powers school of modeling in 1975. He then attained certification in food storage and sanitation and as a food manager and certified working chef. He began his career as a cook for the Locke-Ober Café in 1973 and continued working in culinary arts thereafter. A talented chef, he has advanced several times throughout his career, working for several prominent restaurants until becoming a Chef for the Moonridge Mining Company in 1978. Joining the Marriott Corporation in 1980 his work brought him to Santa Clara, CA, Maui, HI, La Jolla, CC, Palm Desert, CA, and up to the Tenaya Lodge in Yosemite National Park.
Mr. Jordan worked as a Private Home Chef from 1992 to 1996, simultaneously serving as the Executive Chef for Gianna’s Italian Restaurant between 1994 and 1995. Following this period, he was an Executive Chef for Pea Soup Andersen’s from 1996 until 1997. Joining the Delaware North Company as the Executive Chef at the Wawona Hotel in Yosemite National Park between 1996 and 1997 and transferring to The Kennedy Space Center on Titus Island, Florida from 1997-1998 then onto Roaring River State Park in Cassville, Missouri. After 4 years as Executive Sous Chef at The Hillcrest Country Club he continued working as a Chef for the University of California Los Angeles from 2004 to 2005.
While concluding his tenure as a Chef, Mr. Jordan switched careers, becoming a Sales Agent for Re/Max Commercial Real Estate, where he served from 2004 until 2005. He subsequently worked as a sales associate for Coldwell Banker Premier Realty between 2005 and 2006 in Las Vegas. After working as an assistant property manager for DLS Scott Properties, he became a General Manager and Broker Associate for Coldwell Banker Commercial Wilshire Properties in 2007, where he remained until 2011. He continued his career as a senior associate for NAI Capital Commercial in 2011 until becoming a real estate Broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial.
Outside of his main career path, Mr. Jordan has continually participated for 13 years and counting in Toastmasters, with over 50 speeches under his belt along with Marathon fundraisers for charities, including the Santa Monica 10K Clean the Bay Run in 2010 and the Pasadena 5K Run. He was also a finisher in the Boston Marathon with the Boston Children’s Hospital and The Disney half Marathon, Los Angeles, and Maui Marathons with APLA Health, which strives to provide LGBTQ+ empowering health care, support services and HIV specialty care. Looking toward the future, Mr. Jordan intends to not only continue dedicating himself to civic advocacy but also to his professional development, as he presently operates six buildings as a property manager.
