More details about the Nothing Ear (2) has leaked, the company’s true next-generation TWS earbuds. Surprisingly, the Ear (2) appears to carry over almost all its predecessor’s design cues, including its part-transparent finish.

Nothing is just a few days away from presenting the Ear (1) Stick, a refresh of its first earbuds. While the company has not confirmed how much the Ear (1) Stick will cost, it has outlined that the Ear (1) will receive a 50% price hike, implying that the former will not arrive for US$99 as the latter originally did. Meanwhile, 91mobiles has shared marketing renders of the Ear (2), the existence of which Nothing is yet to acknowledge.

Fundamentally, the Nothing Ear (2) look identical to its predecessor. In fact, it appears that Nothing has only swapped the ‘Nothing ear (1)’ lettering for ‘ear 2’. Hence, Nothing’s next-generation earbuds have a broadly transparent design and a corresponding charging case. Like the Ear (1), the Ear (2) has several white elements, including white silicone ear tips. Incidentally, the Ear (1) Stick have the same overall design as Nothing’s flagship earbuds, albeit without ear tips.

Currently, it is unknown when Nothing will introduce the Ear (2). Potentially, the earbuds could debut on October 26 alongside the Ear (1) Stick, although Nothing has not teased anything but the latter so far. Presumably, the Ear (2) will at least match its predecessor’s specifications, such as its 11.6 mm drivers and active noise cancellation (ANC). Unfortunately, Nothing’s commitment to raising Ear (1) prices implies that the Ear (2) will cost more than US$99 too.
