Italian outlet CMW claims that if Antonio Conte does return to Juventus from Tottenham to replace under-fire Max Allegri, then he will look to bring Son Heung-min with him to the Old Lady. Allegri is close to being sacked at Juventus.

Juventus have made a woeful start to the 2022-23 season under Allegri. While there is the expectation that Juventus are going through a transition period and are not the side they once were – but they have only won two of nine games.

On Sunday, they suffered a 1-0 loss to minnows Monza. So, Juventus could decide during the international break. Italian reporter Alvise Cagnazzo told The Mail this week that Pavel Nedved wants Conte back at Tottenham in 2023.

Daniel Levy is said to have given Conte a deadline of January to make a decision on his future. While it looks unlikely Conte would return to Juventus when things look to be going in the right direction at Tottenham, Juve are his old side.

If a move does materialise, CMW say he will look to Tottenham to bring in a signing. It is claimed he would want to sign Son Heung-min, who he has previously labelled as “underrated”. Son netted a hat-trick on Saturday evening.

Conte will look to bring Son to Juventus if he does leave Tottenham

It makes sense that Conte, if he was to join Juventus, would go after Son. Juventus do not need a striker like Harry Kane. They have just signed Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina and he has the potential to be one of the world’s best.

Juventus do have Fede Chiesa, but they could do with another big name on the other flank. A front three of Chiesa, Son and Vlahovic would do serious damage. But right now, it looks unlikely Conte – and Son – will be leaving Spurs.
